Kinsie is an experienced and dedicated development consultant – helping communities and organisations solve complex problems by drawing on over 35 years of experience in both the community, private and public sectors. She has significant knowledge and experience in stakeholder engagement, leadership, partnerships, and governmental relationships. She has worked as a public sector leader as well as a consultant in New Zealand and through the Pacific islands.
Drawing on her expertise in distilling complex information Kinsie is committed to working collaboratively with clients and has significant experience in working alongside stakeholders to develop and achieve sustainable outcomes for individuals and communities. Her skills include empathy, emotional intelligence and respect for diversity. Kinsie’s highly developed facilitation and engagement skills are important assets in the group’s work ensuring project outcomes are informed by and grounded in stakeholder experiences.
Kinsie is passionate about meeting the needs of people with lived experience. This includes advocating for public policy implementation to work alongside rather than ‘delivering to’. This means developing programs and processes that respect the experiences and lives of those who have personal knowledge of their own circumstances and impacts as well as knowledge and ideas about how their needs may be met.
