Lesley's consulting work focuses on helping organisations to strengthen their performance and deepen their impact through continuous learning, adaption, and improvement. She enjoys working with organisations to understand how they work as an organisation, and how they improv outcomes by creating line of sight between action and impact for the people they are supporting or making a difference for. Lesley believes that she can best serve organisations by helping people to appreciate how factors within the organisation, that they can influence, can impact performance. Looking such as leadership, cultural mindset about the importance of data and evidence, and partnering with clients and others support learning, and informed decision-making for effective and efficient investment choices
Inevitably there is a need to change and adapt. Lesley's work has included the development and delivery of tailored change and leadership programs, organisational reviews and evaluation and organisational strengthening. Her work encompasses health and human services sectors, across private, for purpose organisations and government.
Lesley has an extensive background in policy and program development in the public sector along with along considerable experience in senior management roles across government and the private sector. Her work with the Department of health and human services was strongly focussed on evidence-based system and service improvement in both health and human services. Having worked with a diverse range of stakeholders Lesley is clear about the enormous value that comes from collaborative engagement. She believes that where people with diverse experience, perspectives, and knowledge come together with purpose too explore complex problems and policy challenges there are great opportunities to create shared understanding and to develop new thinking and paths forward.
Lesley brings the values of empathy and curiosity to her work; she is a skilled problem solver who brings evaluation knowledge and skills to, organisational, service and systems challenges. She believes in encouraging a culture of honesty and inquiry rather where evidence informs practice and information is used to drive service improvement and outcomes.
Lesley holds a Bachelor of Business (Administration) and a Masters of Evaluation and Assessment. Memberships include IPAA Victoria and the Australian Evaluation Society.
