Mark has worked on a variety of LDC assignments in his capacities as a research assistant and as a coordinator of multimedia content. He is a film maker, and a graduate of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in Sydney
As a research assistant for LDC, Mark has been involved in telephone interviews, designing databases for data management of quantitative and qualitative data, collating data, preparing multimedia presentations and providing administrative support. Mark has also been involved in community consultations with people with disabilities, recent migrants and elderly citizens.
As a film maker, Mark draws upon a blend of academic and artistic skills. He has a detailed understanding of both traditional and emerging technologies, and has practical experience as a writer (of poetry and film scripts), camera operator and audio engineer.
Mark recently completed his PhD in Media Studies at LaTrobe University, for which he wrote and directed a feature length audio play.
