Evaluation of the Australian Greek Welfare Society Planned Activity Group Program

Planned Activity Groups (PAGs) are one of a number of Home and Community Care (HACC) programs funded jointly by Federal and State Governments to support older people and younger people with a disability to continue living at home and in their community.

In 2007, LDC Group was engaged to undertake an evaluation of the AGWS PAG program operating across the four Melbourne metropolitan regions, namely Brunswick, Sunshine, North Balwyn and Clayton. The key evaluation question was: how does participating in an AGWS Greek speaking PAG make a difference to the lives of Greek-Australian participants and/or their family/carers?
